Effective February 1, 2022, Seminole County homeowners and local business owners may qualify to receive a lower insurance renewal rate as a result of the ISO Class 1 rating earned by the Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD).
This is the highest possible rating to be received by the Public Protection Classification® from the Insurance Services Office. This rating places SCFD in the top .001% of the more than 40,000 fire departments in the nation rated by ISO.
The Seminole County Fire Department’s top ISO-1* rating means more safety and peace of mind for residents and businesses, as well as possible lower insurance premiums.
Important to note: Your insurance rates may not change due to this new ISO rating, and it is solely dependent upon your individual insurance carrier.
