The Seminole County Area Veterans Advisory Council has announced that on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, a Veterans Day celebration will be held in downtown Sanford (FL).

Ceremonies will be conducted at the Veterans Memorial Park commencing at 11:00 a.m.  The Veterans Memorial Park is located beside Lake Monroe, in front of the Seminole County Courthouse, in Sanford.

The ceremony is open to the public, and free of charge.

If you know a Veteran, shake their hand and thank them for their service – if YOU are a Veteran, we all thank you for your service to our Country!
