SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

Rates

Effective October 14, 2003

Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) Customer Limitations. Residents of unincorporated Seminole County paying the residential non-ad valorem assessment for curbside collection of solid waste shall be allowed to deliver up to twelve (12) flat rate loads of refuse each calendar year to the Landfill or Transfer Station. After twelve (12) flat rate loads have been delivered from a residence in one (1) calendar year, the applicable disposal fees apply for waste deliveries.

Residential and Commercial Weighed Loads
Vehicle capacity of one ton and greater - landfill & transfer station	$33.17 (per ton)	$66.34 (per ton)
Asbestos (Accepted at Landfill Only)
Each Asbestos delivery shall be charged a $100.00 special handling fee. Please call (407) 665-2260 for disposal criteria and to schedule delivery.	$100.00 (per ton)
Tires
Central Transfer Station
Limit of 4 tires per resident	$1.00   (per tire)
Landfill
Up to 10 tires	$1.00 (per tire)
Over 10 tires are weighed and charged per ton	$100.00 (per ton)
