SGTV Programming Breaks Down Credit and Digs Up the Soil to Help With Tough Economic Times

Sanford, Fla., June 17, 2009-Seminole Government Television (SGTV) has partnered with the Seminole County Extension Service to bring you two new shows to help educate and save you money during these tough economic times.
The first show, "Solutions for Your Life-Your Credit," is one in a series of free financial classes sponsored by the Extension Service to help you understand the truth about credit. Guest presenter Robert M. Levins shows you how to understand credit scores, know what appears on your credit report and what steps you can take to maintain or repair your credit rating.
"Solutions for Your Life-Your Credit" will air on SGTV at the following dates and times: Wednesday, June 24 at 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, June 27 at 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, June 28 at 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday July 1 at 8:30 a.m.
If you want to save money and test your green thumb, then check out "Master Gardener-Growing Veggies." Seminole County Master Gardener Jim Hunter explores the benefits of having your own homegrown harvest along with special guest Tom MacCubbin, retired Orange County Urban Horticulturist. MacCubbin writes a weekly feature for the Orlando Sentinel as well as guest stars on radio and television programs.
"Master Gardener-Growing Veggies" will air on SGTV at the following dates and times: Wednesday, June 24 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, June 27 at 5 p.m.; Sunday, June 28 at 8 p.m. and Wednesday July 1 at 8 a.m.
SGTV is a public service to the citizens of Seminole County and can be viewed on Bright House Networks cable channel 199 in Seminole County or live via the County's Web site, www.seminolecountyfl.gov. Both shows are currently available through SGTV's "On Demand" feature, also found on the Web site.
