Seminole County Government Independence Holiday Hours and Closures

Sanford, Fla., June 29, 2009-Seminole County Government Offices and Libraries will be closed on Friday, July, 3 in observance of Independence Day. Seminole County Libraries are normally closed on Fridays but will also be closed on Saturday, July 4. Libraries will reopen for regular business hours on Sunday, July 5, and Seminole Government Offices will resume operations on Monday, July 6.
The Central Transfer Station and Seminole County Landfill will be open normal business hours on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. Garbage and recycling will be on the regular schedule Friday, July 3 for unincorporated Seminole County Residents.
Seminole County parks, trails, natural lands and boat ramps will be open on Friday, July 3 but will be unstaffed. Active Parks will close at 8 p.m. Parks will be open and staffed on Saturday, July 4. The Ed Yarborough Nature Center will be closed.
