Only Seven Days Left to Help Seminole County's Furry Friends

Sanford, Fla., July 20, 2009-There are only seven days left to vote in the Shelter Challenge, sponsored by the Animal Rescue Site and Petfinder.com. Seminole County Animal Services is still in Second Place. If the County remains in that position for the next week, the shelter will be awarded a $5,000 grant to help its wonderful adoptable animals. If the shelter can move into First Place, the grant jumps to $20,000; that's a lot of catnip and chew bones. So it's now or never, and Animal Services needs your help to push them all of the way to the top. You can vote every day through Sunday, July 26.
Here's how to vote:
Click on www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/shelterchallenge
Scroll down to the purple box, and in the "Shelter Name" field, type in "Seminole County Animal Services." Next select "Sanford" and "FL." Then hit "Search," and click on "Vote." Confirm your vote by naming the animal that pops up. It's that simple and takes fewer than 10 seconds. Those 10 seconds will go a long way in helping Seminole County Animal Services and their wonderful adoptable animals.
