Seminole County Natural Lands Butterfly Hike

Seminole County, Fla., August 10, 2009-On Saturday, August 22, fly on over to a Butterfly Hike at the Chuluota Wilderness Area. Two local experts will take you on an expedition looking for a few of Florida's 180 species of butterflies in their native habitat. Learn about their interesting life history, how to identify them and what plants they feed and lay eggs on. Dress for the outdoors, and bring water, bug spray, sunscreen, a hat and binoculars if you have a pair. There is no cost for this class, but space is limited, so please call 407-349-0551. |
