Government Employees and Their Families Color the Walls of a County Building With Talent

Sanford, Fla., August 12, 2009-Come see and enjoy the talent and creativity of those who serve our residents and businesses. The artwork of the employees and family members of Seminole County Government, its seven cities, constitutional offices and school board is now gracing the halls of the County Services Building, located at 1101 E. First Street in downtown Sanford.
The annual art show, which features paintings, photography, sculptures and works on paper is in its fifth year. It is sponsored by the National Arts Program, which was established in 1983 to identify, showcase and reward the visual artistic talent in America. Winning artists will receive cash prizes.
You can view the art show at the County services Building during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. A reception and presentation of awards is scheduled for Thursday, August 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., also in the County Services Building.
