Resumes can be accepted along with an online application. Be sure that the job title and requisition number are included on all resumes.

When you login, you can submit an online job application with stored information from your personal profile, education, work history, and up to five separately stored resumes. The login account will need to send email to one of your personal email accounts in order to confirm your email address. Any personal email addresses collected by Seminole County will be regarded as a public record and would be released in the event of a Public Records request.

What else should I know before I apply?
- Positions cannot be closed prior to closing date without the approval of the Human Resources Director.

Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Public Administration or Business and four (4) years of experience required to include leadership of dynamic teams of technology professionals, managers of projects that impact the public, county staff, and elected officials, and a combination of experience in enterprise systems and applications design, Cisco networking, Nortel Telephony, fiber optics, local and wide area networks and technology solutions, Checkpoint firewall, HP San, HP Server, and Microsoft environments. Candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of operating characteristics, capabilities, limitations and interoperation of data, voice, wireless, security, server applications and storage networks. The ability to recognize, diagnose and correct Information Technology systems operating problems and recommend solutions to realize efficiencies is required. The ability to evaluate internal processes, service request and existing agreements and recommend appropriate, cost-effective mix of internal and outsourced services is required. Desire experience with preparation and management of service and equipment requisition agreements. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize and prioritize tasks successfully.

Must have completed tenth grade and meet the Countys minimum age requirement of 18. Technical Requirements: Ability to file alphabetically and numerically, to learn assigned tasks and complete assigned task with accuracy; ability to perform duties that require extensive lifting, bending, stretching, climbing, kneeling, and standing on a daily basis; ability to push loaded book cart weighing over 200 hundred pounds; ability to lift boxes weighing over 50 lbs; and ability to lift items 1 to 10 feet above the floor. Keeps the library area clean and organized by ensuring books, newspapers, magazines, and other resources are in the correct location. Shelves books and other library materials. Clears tables of books, magazines and other materials. Empties book drop. Reviews shelves and stacks to ensure good order. Retrieves library material when requested. Assists in Storytimes as requested. Instructs the public on the use of equipment as directed. May assist in office duties including but not limited to processing, ordering, receiving, and cataloging of library materials. Use copy machine as needed. This is a PART-TIME position. Position to work varied schedule at any of the five libraries locations and may require working nights and weekends.
