MUSEUM OF SEMINOLE COUNTY HISTORY
TOUR POLICY
All tours are FREE with museum admission
Museum staff will
conduct these tours. Requests for
a specific staff member to conduct the tour will
be considered on a case-by-case basis and subject
to their assigned schedule.
School Student tours: The Museum
offers tours for students 8 years old up to high
school and groups of home-schoolers. Tours
must be made 2 weeks in advance with a contact person
and phone number. Parents are encouraged
to leave younger siblings home when attending these
tours with their child. Limited number of 28 in
a group.
Young People Groups, Clubs and Organizations
Tours: The Museum offers these tours
to ages 8 years and up. These
tours must be made 2 weeks in advance with a contact
person and phone number. The Museum tour
takes 1 ½ hours. 24 hours notification of cancellation
is requested. Limited number of 28 in a group.
Adult Group Tours: The Museum
offers tours to 10 or more people. Included are
adult clubs, civic organizations, bus tours and
miscellaneous groups. Requests
for tours must be made at least 2 weeks advance
with a contact person and phone number. The
tour lasts about 1 - 1 ½ hours. 24 hours notification
of cancellation is requested.
Any group may tour the museum on its
own. Prior notification
of a group touring on its own is appreciated
to ensure the museum has staff available on those
dates.
Audio tours are available in English,
Spanish and German. Limit of 10 wands.
