eBook Collection
Did you know that you can check out and read electronic
books online from our eBook collection?
The Seminole County Public Library has over 27,000 electronic books (eBooks)
in our online eBook collection. You actively view the full-text eContent (turning pages, searching within the full-text, etc.) in 15-minute increments. If you are not actively viewing the item, it returns for someone else to view. In order to
check out an eBook, you must first create an account from within one of
our branch libraries. See a librarian if you need help creating
an account. Once you have an account, you can log in from your home
or office.
Creating an Account
- From one of our five
branches, get on the Internet and go to
www.netlibrary.com
and use the Create a Free Account link.
Enter your identifying information (username,
password, email address, etc.).

Click the Create Account button.
Logging In
Each time you wish to check out an eBook or access it remotely, you must
first log in. (If you are creating a new account, you will be logged into
SCPL’s eBook collection automatically.)
How to log in:
- Go to www.netlibrary.com
and click on the Log In link in the top-left
corner.

Enter your Username and Password in the boxes.

Click the Log in button.

You now have access to all eBooks available in SCPL’s collection.
eBooks in the Library Catalog
The eBook collection is included in the library catalog. See a
list of all the eBooks.
When you see a book in the library catalog with the call number "EBOOK", this is an electronic book available online.
In the item description there will be a link labeled: "Electronic access : An electronic book accessible through the World Wide Web; click for information".
Click on this link to access the eBook. |
