Contractor's Responsibilities

Install dewatering, sheeting, bracing or shoring (if required).
Verify tapping sleeve is per Seminole County detail and Approved Materials list.
Tapping sleeve to be located a minimum of 4' from any pipe joints, fittings or valves.
Add #57 stone per Seminole County details.
Install pressure gauge & perform pressure test (150 psi for 15 minutes).
Tapping valve and machine are to be supported properly & not cause undue stress on the main
Deliver pipe coupon to Inspector.
Backfilling & compaction of excavated area.
Restoration as required.

It is recommended to have the 2" taps installed for the jumper assembly if the wet tap is installed on a Potable Water Main line.
