The Historical Commission is a fifteen (15) member board that is appointed by the BCC and is an advisory board to the BCC concerning the Museum. The Historical Commission meets once a month (on the 3rd Thursday) to discuss matters of historical interest concerning Seminole County, including the preservation of historical material, recommendation of placement of historical markers, and the operation of the Museum of Seminole County History.
