Lake Harney Basin – Watershed Flood Resiliency Plan

CIP No. 01907080

Seminole County wants to share the findings of the watershed flood resiliency plan developed for Lake Harney Basin with the public. This plan involved:

  • Identification of flood prone areas based on hydrologic data, field investigations, and resident input.
  • Assessment of floodplain boundaries.
  • Estimation of potential flood impacts to roadways and buildings.
  • Development of project concepts to improve conditions at five (5) known flooding problem locations.

Project Presentation

Seminole County held a Public Meeting on August 26, 2020, to inform the public on the Draft Lake Harney Flood Resiliency Plan Report and to solicit final input from residents and stakeholders. A copy of the meeting can be viewed below.
