Most of the 21.5 miles of canals are cleaned on a regular basis with our rubber-tire excavator. Canals and ditches without a cleared working berm alongside are cleaned with a crawling excavator or "Spyder".
Both of these machines have attachments that allow them to be used for digging, mowing, and handling heavy objects like trees or pieces of concrete. When canal banks become eroded or damaged, they are restored using a variety of erosion control materials.
