TOILET REBATE GUIDELINES

Up to Two (2) Toilets purchased during these dates are eligible for rebate - AUGUST 1, 2023 - SEPTEMBER 23 , 2024

***To be eligible for the rebate - You MUST be a Seminole County Environmental Services water customer, this means you pay your water bill to Seminole County Environmental Services Water & Sewer (not paid to another city or private utility)*** Your receipt must be dated between AUGUST 1, 2023 - SEPTEMBER 23, 2024, to be eligible for a rebate.  ALL REBATE APPLICATIONS, DOCUMENTS & PICTURES MUST BE TURNED IN NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 23, 2024.  New toilet(s) must also be installed before turning in application. **********PROGRAM IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR HOMES BUILT IN 1994 OR LATER********** To participate in the Toilet Rebate Program, you can contact the Water Conservation Coordinator, Sandro at (407) 665-2121 to check on program participation eligibility, or click on the links below for the FAQ's and Eligibility procedures. Rebates are up to $100 each for replacing a high flow toilet 3.5 gpf (or higher), with a HET 1.6 gpf (or lower) WATERSENSE labeled toilet.  There is a Maximum of up to $200 for replacing two (2) toilets.   Program Duration:  You must purchase your toilet(s) between AUGUST 1, 2023 to SEPTEMBER 23, 2024. Fill out the Rebate Application and send along with the Required Items to Submit & the Toilet Rebate Survey. *Toilet seats or installation are NOT eligible for rebate.* REQUIRED ITEMS TO SUBMIT FOR REBATE: Completed Application (Signed and Dated) Original sales receipt for the new 1.6 gpf (or lower) toilet(s)  WaterSense logo(s) (cut from toilet box packaging) Photo of old toilet(s) before removal 3.5 gpf (gallons per flush) or higher Photo of new toilet(s) installed 1.6 gpf (or lower) WaterSense labeled toilet(s) Completed Survey Form after installation and Application Form signed and dated.  Please check FAQ's & Eligibility for any further questions *Must complete all the required items, application, and survey before rebate will be refunded!

Please make a copy of your receipt before sending your Required Items to Submit, due to the fact that the originals will not be returned.

Send only one application for each service address.

TOILET REBATE PROGRAM IS ONLY FOR HOMES BUILT PRIOR TO 1994. 

*You may be contacted by the rebate program coordinator to schedule an on-site installation verification inspection.*

Toilet performance varies, so choose wisely. Check out the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) WaterSense web site http://www.epa.gov/watersense/product_search.html or www.map-testing.com to find out the performance information on different toilet fixture models.  Please note the County does not guarantee toilet performance or workmanship.

A maximum of Two (2) toilets to be rebated per single family dwelling (includes Single-Family Homes-Owner Occupied, Resident-Owned Condos and Mobile Homes).

Rebates are: up to $100 for each Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) WaterSense labeled High Efficiency Toilet (HET) Toilet(s) 1.6 gpf (or lower).

The County reserves the right to withhold a rebate for failure to comply with program requirements.
